B2B Meetings: March 24 - April 7, 2021

The  German Association for Marine Technology  and the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany in partnership with the Canadian Embassy in Berlin, the Government of Canada (Global Affairs Canada, National Research Council of Canada and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), the Ocean Technology Council of Nova Scotia, the Government of Nova Scotia, the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship, the Alacrity Foundation British Columbia, Canada and the Association of British Columbia Marine Industries (ABCMI) Canada welcomes you to the second session of the German-Canadian Ocean Economy Talks on March 24, 2021. And remember to mark your calendars, for the third and final session in this series on April 29, 2021.

This second session will focus on: 

  • Canadian and German funding Programmes to facilitate research, development and international industry collaborations in Marine Industry verticals (excluding Defence);
  • Opportunities for Secure B2B Virtual Meetings for Canadian and German companies and organisations; and 
  • Opportunity for 3 minute Pitch Session focusing on Sub Sea Technologies; Marine Autonomous & Remote Vehicles; Environmental Monitoring and Observation; Smart Technologies and Marine Technologies associated with both floating and fixed infrastructure.

Virtual B2B Meetings

Our b2match site features registered German and Canadian companies who have indicated that they are interested in engaging international business discussions.  B2B meetings are available until April 7, 2021.

Detailed profiles for both German and Canadian companies can be found on the Participants tab, and further details on the virtual meeting process can be found on the How It Works tab.

To take part, simply register, add your profile and then request and accept (or decline) meeting invitations.

For the Pitch Sessions (due to time constraints, Pitch slots are limited, three minutes max per Pitch, Pitches need to be approved by event organisers). Suggested pitch format:

Three PowerPoint slides.  Suggest two slides  on your company and its offerings and the third slide on the types of partnership your company is looking for.
